ISEH 2026 Mini Symposium

The third annual virtual Mini Symposium organized by the Junior Faculty Committee will take place on 16 April. Join us to view keynote presentations and short talks by selected abstract submitters. Bethan Psaila, MBBS, PhD (MRC Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine, University of Oxford, UK) will present on bone marrow organoids, Simón Méndez-Ferrer, PhD (University of Cambridge, UK) will present on bone marrow microenvironment and Jian Xu, PhD (St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, US) will present on metabolism in hematopoiesis.

Abstract Submission

Submit an abstract for an opportunity to speak at the 2026 Mini Symposium. The top 6 scoring abstracts will be selected for a short talk. The presenter of the best short talk, as voted by attendees, will earn a speaking spot at the 55th Annual Scientific Meeting and be awarded a Travel Grant to attend the meeting in Frankfurt, Germany (27 - 30 August, 2026)!*

All short talk presenters will also be given the opportunity to submit a Lab Spotlight to Simply Blood.

The deadline to submit an abstract is 28 February.

*If awarded a Travel Grant, you must also be a current ISEH member, submit an abstract to the general ISEH Call for Abstracts and attend the meeting in Frankfurt in order to receive payment.

Abstracts will not be publicly disclosed and will only be seen by members of the Junior Faculty Committee during scoring (under confidentiality).
