2025 Poster Instructions

Poster Number and Posters with Authors Session Time

This year, poster presentations will be divided into two different sessions, with odd numbered posters presenting on Thursday, 25 September and even numbered posters presenting on Friday, 26 September. The poster hall will be located in Conference Room A1-2

Poster Printing and Presentation Guidelines

Please find your poster specifications below:

  • Posters should be printed on size A0 paper. The A0 paper size is 841 mm x 1189 mm, 84.1 cm x 118.9 cm or 33.1 inches x 46.8 inches.
  • You may set up your poster starting at 09:00 Thursday. If you would like your poster available all day Thursday for breaks, with the first one being at 10:30, we would recommend you set up your poster between 9:00 and 10:00.
  • The last poster session is Friday night. All posters must be removed by the end of this session at 20:00.
  • Please note we have the poster set-up window in the morning to allow for attendees to browse the poster hall during any coffee and lunch breaks. It is not our expectation that authors are present during those times, but they are always welcome to stand by their posters.
  • We do ask that authors are present during their designated Posters with Authors assignment.
  • During poster set-up, attendees should set up their poster at their designated poster number.
  • You are responsible for removing and storing your poster. ISEH does not provide space for poster storage and cannot guarantee the safety of any poster left unattended following your session.
  • ISEH will not be collecting electronic posters this year.
  • Abstracts will be available in the mobile app starting on Wednesday, 24 September.

Travel Grant Opportunities

ISEH is committed to helping early-career investigators maximize their potential. In 2025 we are offering travel grants to eligible ISEH members who are PhD students or Post-doctoral fellows. Payout for travel grant recipients is contingent on their attendance at the ISEH Annual Scientific Meeting and their presentation of an accepted abstract as a poster or oral presentation. The travel grant application is only open during the first call for abstracts and is not available to late-breaking abstract submitters.

Here are some fantastic travel grant opportunities available for 2025.

ISEH and Paul S. Frenette Travel Grants

Developing Country Travel Grants

Our society firmly believes that the scientific community is stronger with the active participation and leadership of people with diverse identities, perspectives and backgrounds. As such, ISEH has established a Developing Country Travel Grant to promote accessibility of the ISEH meeting and community to scientists from developing countries who may not otherwise be able to attend. Travel grant applicants must submit an abstract to the ISEH meeting and work in one of the eligible countries, defined by ISEH as those in the World Bank tiers of low-income and lower-middle income or by the IMF as an Emerging and Developing Economy. Abstracts will be reviewed and scored on scientific merit, with the top scoring abstract(s) being prioritized. Funding is limited.

Criteria and requirements for the Developing Country Travel Grant:

Reside in countries defined by the World Bank as Low-income and Lower-middle Income Economies

Additional notes:

  • While it is not required, we encourage you to join ISEH as a member.
  • This travel grant is available to applicants in all all career stages.
